The Arival

We left our house in Elk River, MN at 4:45 a.m. We flew to Chicago and had to transfer from gate E9 to Gate E13 for the flight to Detroit. We had five minutes to get to our gate, so we were moving. We went to Gate E13, and it said “Minneapolis / Great Falls”. We checked the flight board, and we had to go to Gate E9… the exact plane we just got off of. Very funny. We were so excited because the shuttle to the car rental place took us to the Enterprise office, they were serving hotdogs and water! Yippee…. Lunch. We then drove out to Mt. Clemons, Michigan and it’s hard to believe the Tonz of Fun is ours! Jan came out, along with Bob (her son from Florida). Mary slept twice and swam in the pool once, so she enjoyed that. Drove the car to one of many of their yacht clubs called Mariners. Bill, Terri and their twins, Kenzie and Kaitlin, met us there, and we had a great dinner and received a burgee from Jan. We met one of the first commadores of the club, John, and talked to all of their friends.
